General Information
POLITEHNICA Bucharest has partnered with leading European universities to offer Double Degree and Joint Degree Programs. These initiatives enable students to develop globally transferable skills while broadening their perspectives through immersion in a different culture.
Upon completion, students receive diplomas from both Politehnica Bucharest and the partner institution.
What is a Double Degree Program?
A Double Degree Program allows students to spend part of their Bachelor's or Master's studies at a partner university, depending on the specific agreement. This mobility typically lasts for two years, and upon completion, students earn diplomas from both institutions.
Some Double Degree Programs are available exclusively at the Master's level.
During the mobility period, students are exempt from paying tuition fees and can apply for an ERASMUS scholarship to help fund their stay.
A Double Degree Program involves two universities:
Home University
Partner/Host University
Programs Structure
POLITEHNICA students (outgoing students) generally participate in two semesters of mobility during their Bachelor's studies (usually in the third year) and another two semesters during their Master's studies (usually in the second year of the Master's program).
For programs available only at the Master's level, students complete the first year at POLITEHNICA Bucharest and the second year at the host university.
